Trey, greeting card stuff! Beautiful. The cold blues against the warm sky really makes this come alive and the lone tree really anchors it. I do agree with some other comments that a reflection in the pond would really make this really special. Perhaps a little photoshopping could make it happen? No matter, it's beautiful work and your good eye and patience paid off. |

Sanat, great capture. I am immediately drawn to the pattern the tea vegetation creates. Amazing! The road also does a pretty good job of creating a leading line of sorts. As for the buildings, they do distract but also add information on the workings of a tea plantation. A fabulous travel shot! |

Charles, what a great shot. The stark road line that cuts the image in thirds is what really makes it for me and what a special touch with a lone tourist with their small (rental?) car. Can't think of a single thing I'd change, very well done. |

Quang, I love making the best use of colors and movement and you've done it quite well. It really exudes the feeling of the season and gives the sensation of driving in a car and sightseeing Christmas lights. Very fun. |

Louis, what an incredible image. I love that it's so intimate and at the same time broad in scope. It makes me want to know what they're selling and buying in the colorful market all under the canopy of the sky and skyscrapers. My only suggestion, and it's just my eye, is that the tall building on the right pulls my eye to it. I'm wondering if you cropped to eliminate it, if it would ruin the overall effect? Anyway, as usual, beautiful work! |

John, the focus of your piece is those marvelous, colorful canoes waiting for duty. I like how they present themselves to form a leading, curved line. A couple things you might consider to bring that out even more; erasing the taller vegetation that blocks the view of the boats, cropping to take out as much of the grass as possible, and toning down the sky and grass, for me its vividness overshadows the colors on the canoes. It's a great scene. Happy New Year to you! |
