Sanat, sorry it's taken so long to post. What a spectacular place! The title tells us a lot, are there falls there at all before the monsoon season? I love what you captured and the post processing. The de-hazing did a credible job. Looks like you increased saturation a bit and that works for me. My suggestions is to darken or crop the far right side a bit so my eye focuses more on the falls. Thanks for sharing this one! |

Trey, I love what you were able to pull out of the original image. The lacy, falling streams of water are the stars here. 1/2 second was about perfect exposure. A couple things I'll note: this is a hard one to straighten to everyone's eye. The one thing we know is that water falls straight down so you can pull up a vertical line in your editing program and go from there, your image might be right on. My only other suggestion is to add a tad more "breathing room" on top of the falls. To me it would balance things out a bit more. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful image! Happy Holidays to you. . . Quang, this is all about symmetry and light - and you got both perfectly. Bravo, it's a wonderful capture and the waiting for the rain to stop made it extra special. My only criticism, and it's probably just my eye, is that the moon's brightness constantly pulls my eye away from the focus of the piece. Other than that - perfect. Happy Holidays to you. |

Louis, an absolute stunner. The colors are amazing and that you got into an early morning position to capture it is admirable. Wouldn't change a thing except put it in a frame and hang it on a wall. I'm interested, did you do any focus stacking to capture this? At f5 I'm amazed you got the depth of field required. What a shot! Happy Holidays to you. |

What a fine specimen of a barn and the fence (minus the pole) really makes it. The surrounding trees give it the correct perspective for the viewer and they look as worn as the barn. The only thing I can suggest is removing the rectangular area of white just to the left of the main trees trunk. My eye wondered there and I tried figuring out what it was. Nice work. Happy Holidays John. |
