Wonderful image. Great colors from the reds to blues. Good exposure too. My only issue is that had you not explained what you saw I would have never known what I was looking at. At first glance I thought it was a dammed river, there was not enough visual information to get my bearings. But that was just me, well done. |

The finished product is striking. For me the sky is the subject and truthfully I've never seen a sky like it. The title suggests the bridge is the focus but it's really a minute piece of the puzzle. I do agree that sky replacement (only with your own skies) is permissible, even in competition in the pictorial genre. As others have suggested, sky reflection could have helped here. Thanks for sharing! |

Trey, for me this is a study in contrasts and if submitted into a nature competition should have a title that explains the phenomenon. Love the color and void of color. I agree that some cropping would pull more attention to the subject and I really did need the explanation to make sense of the photo. Thanks for the lesson. |

Louis, great travel photo. You definitely brought attention to the subject with your post processing. I was interested to see the number of people in front of the temple, are they in line to visit the temple? Although I like the sky replacement, I do think it detracts from the subject, so it could be toned down. Also, I would try to erase the the street sign and pole at the bottom left as my eye was drawn to it. All in all, nice job. |

Gary, really enjoyed exploring this image. So much to see! The windows with green trim drew me into the photo and seeing the reflection of the L and its tracks made it. What's really cool is trying to also see what's behind the windows. Even at the high ISO it looks sharp. Don't think I'd change a thing in this one. Nice job. |
