Thank you all for the positive responses and ideas.
I have been trying to mask in more light but as I raise exposure I raise noise.
I do have lighter bridge images with a moving moon so will try layering and use more masking to mask out the moon.
Have 2 problems and both deal with time. I'm in a camera club which requires time for processing and entering competitions. And I'm married and my wife starts getting upset if I'm on the computer all the time. Sheltering in place means she can't do her hobby which is shopping mostly at thrift stores. Well life is the choices you make.
But thanks for all of the ideas. |

The colors are wonderful. Like the red captured in the ice tears. |

I did take more images exposed better for the bridge and then exposed for moon. Didn't look quite right when I combined them. It was later in the night and the moon was higher and fuller. I liked the reflection of the moon and its orange color. Each time I try moon shots I get closer to the image in my mine. Luckily there is a full moon at least once every month so I can get lots go practice and get to think about what I need to do to get the image I want. |
