Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
65 Jun 21 Comment Very interesting: the "hairy" structure along the stem adds an element that I am not used to seeing in sunflowers. It would be interesting to compare this image with one taken at f18-22 with best focus on stem Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment Well done: An interesting and pretty flower. I like the way the out of focus yellow flowers in the background (along with the purplish ? other flower toward the upper right) add to the image. Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment Interesting. I am impressed by ability to do this with room lighting; I have not worked much with room (or unassisted natural) lighting. Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment Orchids are such great photographic material! Soemtimes these close up views remind me of a human tongue, with uvula (that dangling thing at the back of the throat) hanging behind it. Very good! Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment I really like the way the color of the daisy's petals blends with the brownish background. The yellow center of the flower appears slightly less sharp than the petals at the front: really tough to get that balance. Well done Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment Very nice: it's fun to watch these transition from flowers to seeds and then to grow all in the matter of weeks. Might be interesting to crop out some of space on the right, which would give more focus on seeds and balance to photo. Jun 18th
65 Jun 21 Comment Thanks Stuart, Yes, MPE lens (I love it) - am still working on optimizing technique, etc. Agree with your comment re extending DOF (20/20 hindsight...), Michael Jun 10th
