Interesting and intriguing: the twig coming out from the side combines with the sawed off branch stump just up and to the right to remind me of a face with an eye. Background behind the twig forms a very pleasant background, adding a very different layer to force attention to the twig. |

Thanks. I am intrigued by your point re stem being slightly off the corner: I had not thought about that previously. Interesting also how flower blooms take on so many different forms as they progress through their life cycle. |

Very interesting. My own experience with stacking has used the technique on much smaller objects: where the DOF is so narrow that there is a big difference between a single shot, stopped down versus stacked. |

I like the back lighting to transilluminate, does a great job in bringing out details that I otherwise would not have realized were there. Also like the use of the flower's stem to lead into the flower itself. |

Well done. The eyes, and nostrils all capture my attention and form a nice visual set of visual areas of interest. Works very well in BW for bringing out the dog's character |

Thanks: I do like the increase in clarity, sharpness: my initial concern had been that this may have been too contrasty, but there is a surprising amount of detail that I had missed. |
