23 Mar 25 Comment How do you find the time for 2 time-consuming hobbies? This is beautiful and I am sure it took a lot of time and work. I know your nephew will cherish it always. Thanks for sharing. Mar 27th
23 Mar 25 Comment The leading lines are wonderful and the silhouetted person adds to the image. Very nicely done. Mar 27th
23 Mar 25 Comment Richard, thank you for sharing. This was great and I could visit NY from my house! I also enjoyed seeing ground zero. I loved the pumpkin displays and the creativity - what a great idea. Thanks for sharing! Mar 27th
23 Mar 25 Comment I can't believe that judge said it was out of focus. I think it is sharp and clear. You see the horse's eye. There is maybe a little softness in the tail and one hoof, but I had to search for that and I feel that it shows some movement. This is very nicely done, caught at just the right moment and tells a great story. Mar 27th
23 Mar 25 Comment Great composition and I like the colorful label. It really adds to the otherwise matte image. The label and all writing is sharp and legible - very nicely done. Mar 27th

23 Mar 25 Reply Thank you! I used to play chess, but love Mah Jongg once I discovered it - and yes, the tiles are more colorful. Mar 27th
23 Mar 25 Reply Jill, Yes, I used a tripod and a remote trigger. I set up the R7 to do focus stacking. You tell it how many images to create although if it needs less, it does less. The camera takes a series of photos with the focus point at all the different levels. The nice thing about the R7 is that it creates a .jpg of the combined images. It is suggested to create a separate folder on your camera for each series of photos. I also have the R5 and it doesn't create a .jpg - it just gives you the series of photos and you have to combine them in Photoshop or another program like Helicon. I took this on a black reflector board to get the reflections. Thanks for the compliments - this was a fun photo to do. Mar 27th

97 Mar 25 Comment The eagle is so sharp - well captured. This tells a great story. Mar 27th
97 Mar 25 Comment Great shot of the kingfisher and its beautiful colors. We have them here, but not this colorful. You did a great job of capturing him mid air and looking very focused on his prey. Nice job. Mar 27th
97 Mar 25 Comment You caught this at the exact right moment to get the great reflection, liftoff and the trailing water. I like the background - it is the natural background but enough bokeh to not distract from the bird. Well done. Mar 27th
97 Mar 25 Comment I think this is a snowy egret - they have the golden slippers and are smaller than a great egret. I love the artistic quality of this photo. I agree that if you are allowed to use AI, the added wings help to make the image. Beautiful. Mar 27th
97 Mar 25 Comment Good catch at just the right moment. This tells the story although I do wonder who won - or maybe they shared! Nice capture. Mar 27th
97 Mar 25 Comment One of my favorite birds, but it's hard to find them without their beaks in the water. The detail is great and sharp. I love the little pink feathers on his/her neck. I've never seen those before. Nice capture. Mar 27th
