23 Dec 23 Comment I always like the lines from the old cars - you know exactly what you are looking at by seeing just a small part of the car. I agree with above comments to work on the white areas. Nice composition. Dec 30th
23 Dec 23 Comment Beautiful fall shot with great leading lines and even better with the house at the end of the leading lines! I really loved the story and extra photo of the wall. Dec 30th
23 Dec 23 Comment Very nice photo that really captures the culture in her dress and her actions. I agree with the left to right composition, but in this case I think the original is left to right. I look in from the left and see her facing me. When reversed, I feel like I get stopped on the left by the back of her head and body...just my perception. Dec 30th

23 Dec 23 Reply Thank you. No, I couldn't rearrange things. I was taking the photo through grates in a small window with no way to get inside. Dec 30th
23 Dec 23 Reply Thank you. There's a cropped version below and it does look better with the top removed. Dec 30th
23 Dec 23 Reply I agree that this cropped version looks better. Dec 30th
23 Dec 23 Reply Thank you so much! Dec 30th

97 Dec 23 Reply Thank you and I agree that he needs some room to fly! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Reply Thanks and your version does brighten him up a bit. I agree that he needs some room to fly! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Reply Thank you. Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Reply One of my favorites also - thanks! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Reply Thank you and I understand your pain. I've witnessed how those mockingbirds can create such havoc with our backyard birds! I love our Eastern bluebirds and agree that this one needs a little room in front to fly! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Comment Great shot and composition with 3 birds lined up perfectly. I especially like the 3 eyes all in focus and I feel like they are looking sideways at you. Nice shot! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Comment Patience pays off, right? Very nice capture of these birds in action. Great shot of the Royal Tern in the showcase! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Comment Great shots - both of them. It's hard to pick a favorite. I've done a whole series of face on birds. I find them so interesting when they are looking at you so I'd probably go with the face on view. Very nice! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Comment I'm a little late getting to this, but I like the cloned version that keeps the entire log in the photo. I love the mallard and especially his feet and the reflection. Jim, I also love your photo in the showcase. It is just beautiful. I made my first trip to the Smoky Mountains this year and will definitely go back - what a magical place! Dec 30th
97 Dec 23 Comment Good image and he's very sharp. I like the drop of water on his beak. The background could be darkened, but it does show how well they can camouflage themselves into their environment. Dec 30th
