Tough to choose which version - color or B&W - both are good. its a sad photo and I think the B&W enhances the sadness. Good leading line and good documenting of a sad event. |

Great shot and really makes you feel the cold - good story also as the cold doesn't keep them from breakfast. Wonderful photo |

Great photo and wonderful detail. His hands and fur display great texture. I do like Brian's version as the color is more natural. |

Thanks all - I do agree that it was a little busy and the roofs were not attractive so cropping helped. It did get shown as is in the art show and I was pleasantly surprised that someone bought it - my 1st sale! |

Great expressive photograph. The textures in the covering are fantastic as the characteristics in the face. I really like the choice of B&W. Very nice portrait. |

I like the background blue and green colors with the color of the gladiola. The front petals do not appear to be as fresh so they are distracting. Cropping would help and will also make the wonderful water drops more visible. |

Is this what you were trying for? I did it quickly in LR by adding a linear gradient mask and taking down the dehaze. If you google, there are videos to show how to do it in PS which may work better. I really like the textures of the moss on the rocks in front and the depth of field in the photo |
