23 Jan 22 Comment I agree with Shirley. I like the photo with his head upright and agree that some of the right could be cropped out so as to feature the cute duck. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Comment I liked this photo and it really tells a happy Christmas story. I especially like the lighting in the stores and the red on the 2 women. The women front left gives almost a Victorian look - I guess it's the hat. The leading lines direct my eyes to the central building in the back which is why it would be nice to have the top of that building. Other than that, its a great photo. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Reply Thank you - I initially liked the leaves, but on 2nd thought, it probably would have been better to leave them out and do a vertical crop to highlight the Eagle. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Reply Thank you! I can't imagine living on Merritt Island. Well, I can imagine and I would probably be at the refuge every day. Such a fantastic place for photographing birds. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Reply Thank you and I agree - I do have a tendency to have photos too dark and get frequent criticism to lighten areas. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Comment I looked up photos of the Black Hills as well and did find some with a strong blue haze. Interesting...Colors look very artificial to me, but apparently I need to plan a visit there to see it! Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Comment Very nice and love the frost on him. It would be better to have the entire animal and I like removing the one in the background. I agree that if you don't have the entire animal, crop to make it more of a portrait and feature his beautiful head. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Comment I love this area of Jekyll Island and especially like this done in B&W. The sky is fantastic and especially the rays from the clouds. I do think that it will look better if the very top of the driftwood is removed. I also would like more room on both sides. Driftwood gives off a sense of loneliness and it loses some of that emotion with the tight crop. Jan 12th
23 Jan 22 Comment I really like this. The primary colors are vivid and the flow keeps my interest. It does look like it is underwater and the sense of movement is so interesting. Jan 12th
