No, I had really zoomed in on him. Interesting that you are now the 3rd person suggesting this for my Christmas card. I think I will use it for this year's card - and love the suggestion of adding some clouds or texture. Thanks! |

Nice capture of the water falling over the rocks viewed from a higher perspective. The colors are strong with the blue and green giving the cool feel of the water. |

I like knowing the story behind this photo. It explains the trees still standing that barely survived the fire. The clouds show a storm coming, but the sky looks like smoke to me - very emotional photo when you know the story. |

Nice depth of field with the grass in the foreground, the mountains and clouds. Light is very good on the buildings and the field. I would prefer it cropped to better show the buildings and less of the clouds. |

Great reflection and the black and white is very effective. The trees in the reflection are really sharp. I do think that flipping it would be better since our eyes like viewing from left to right. |

I like the cartoon effect of a great photo. This would make an interesting photo for a Christmas card. |

Great silhouette! I agree that the 2 trees would look better darkened. I would crop it just a bit to put the sun in the 1/3 point (attached) - just a personal preference - I think it helps to emphasize the rimmed clouds and sun. Great photo. |
