8 Jan 26 Comment This is a photo to document, so I would try to make it clear and detailed, particularly the ceiling. The pillars do add context. Jan 31st
8 Jan 26 Comment Excellent image. Everything works together. I particularly like the color palette. Jan 31st
8 Jan 26 Comment I like the image as it is. A nice minimalist work. Very poetic. Interesting to see that 2 corners are empty and 2 corners have some minimal image. Jan 31st

8 Jan 26 Comment Superb Image. Repeating curves and lines, almost like a visual melody. Monochrome a good choice , strips away distraction , emphasizing form which is central to this image. Cross lines enhances precision to an overall abstract image. Brilliant work. Jan 21st

96 Jan 26 Comment "Some folks feel great landscape photos can only be taken in majestic locations. Others feel it should be possible to find a photo in anytime in any 100 square yd. area. I tend to subscribe to something in the middle. It takes not a special place, but does take a special time when everything aligns "just so"." : It reminds me of famous quote from Poet called Rabindranath Tagore (Look him up)...here is the quote ..'"I have spent a fortune traveling to distant shores and looked at lofty mountains and boundless oceans, and yet I haven't found time to take a few steps from my house to look at a single dew drop on a single blade of grass."
? Rabindranath Tagore'

This a beautiful image and yes tonality is exceptional. Yes I like visual the rhythm of the image , way you have used repitation, and staggered placement of the trees to create a sense of depth. I think that diffused lightning did the trick.
Excellent Work.

96 Jan 26 Comment This is an abstract interpretation of reality, with a earthy color palettes , blues and greens. Yes it has a painterly (impressionism) feel, a beautiful use of reflection . Good Work. Jan 15th
96 Jan 26 Reply Thank You very much for your thoughtful comments. I really appreciate your feedback.

Interesting edit. I would still stay with the crop that I have, because of the polygons, yours are good too (albeit from a different point of view) . I do like you approach towards color grading but to me harmony and rhythm comes from multiple variations of some fundamental colors that are dominant in the image. What you did, if I understand correctly , you are reducing the variations and pushing towards to the dominant ones for the image.

"I have to admit, I've been to DV several times and have yet to find an example as good as this, so I'm jealous!" : I am humbled. I am just like an everyday amateur photographer.
