Nice. Love the deep saturated color of the boat and a wash of that, mixed with light on the water. The ripples on the water and the light stripe on the boat evokes poetry. The signs of wear on the boat gives a feeling of time. Couldn't decipher what are those things on extreme right? Cropping them would make the image too tight on the frame, maybe erase them?
Overall, to me, this is a very beautiful poetic photo. Great Work. |

"I'm not known as a bird photographer": You are trying to be humble. This is an excellent photo. With the sun on one of the eyes, beautifully blurred environment, it seems that the owl is playing hide and seek. You used the environment very well in this photo. I can see the texture of the bird's feathers. Wonderful Photo. |

Yes agree. Step wells are difficult to photograph. I tried another set at different well on a separate visit to India, few years back. I just messed up. Initially I was inspired by looking at a CNN travel photos on Chand Baori. I finally ended up asking how did he took those photos , he told me he had special permission and was allowed stand and all the equipment to control light to take those beautiful pictures. We take street photos and do not have luxury of all those things. The challenge is even greater
There goes the back story

Superb Image. Great POV and nice composition. These two factors tell a story through this image. I would argue while the fruit seller is not dominant in the image (he shouldn't be), without his presence the image would be boring. It is the human touch.
I would tweak the Vibrancy, red and orange channels in Lightroom and see how it looks. Maybe you have already done that. Great Work. |

This is a difficult image to take. The television is also prominent. POV is good. Maybe I would try to take the same shot with lower F number like 2.8 and see how the background comes. |

Love the image. It is superb and colorful. Nice composition. The person on the left act as a support to the main character. I would like to blur the person and see how it looks. POV is great. Great Work. |

Sepia and the dramatic composition make the image. I would expect the focus to be deep in this image i.e. with higher F number.
Idea of the photo is nice . Great Work. |

Not sure which one you saw. Baori is early Indian innovation of the people living in very dry areas to conserve water and use them smartly. There are many of them in almost all the dry/arid areas of India. |

I would go for a panorama aspect ratio i.e. crop out good amount of the sky but keep the clouds though. I would a bite more saturation of the overall image and work on the vibration of the greens. Great Work. Superb Image. |

Maybe I would like the image to be sharper. I would also crop the grass in front. Saturate the overall image a bit and use a grad on the sky to bring out more drama. |

This is good image. I like Rick's version though.
To me the question is how each of the elements in the image is contributing to the overall impact. He embraced the symmetry (which is the dominant theme of the image) forcefully in his rendition. Color palette is beautiful, but can we increase the sharpness of the tree in front? Don't know how, but I feel if that is possible maybe the image would become even better.
Great Work. |

This is a good photo. However I will not split the photo into half with the horizontal line. The sky is interesting too. For my taste I do prefer the color to be a little intense.

Thank you.The reason I picked: intially I was feeling lazy to walk up to the pallette itself. I put up my camera stand , a little ahead of the parking lot and I looked at the view and it struck me as to why they call this place as artist's Palette. To finish the story , I did end up walking up there as my wife decided to do the short hike. I did end up taking a lot more close up photos also. |
