Hi Stephen,
Yes, Indonesia climate has plentiful rainfall especially starting September to March every year. Tengger National park where Bromo and Batok mount located also have strong wind. You are right Batok mount texture could be rain runoff gullies for thousand years. Thank you for your appreciation. |

Hi Li Sun,
I was not cropped original image as attached. If I shot eyes level using that lens, yes, there will be distortion. May be the people was below the lens that make it has no distortion. I will some experiment later. The textured was created by nature for thousand years. It could be due to rainfall. |

I can feel your situation, because I have same experience when travel. Your post processing able to make better image. The stone very unique. From your final image I just select the elephant stone, make new layer and adjust clarity, contrast. |

Hi Paul, the right corner that looks like herd of sheep is cement stairs for visitor to hike and down the Bromo peaks. Erupted mount is Semeru which located 10km from Bromo and Batok mount. Thank you for your feedback and appreciation. |
