Ruth, what a fun image you have captured! I would not have known that the photo was that of a common grater, so it is an excellent abstract. I do like tweaking it with a little cropping and the darker grater gaps.
The original photo is also a striking image. Superior captures! |

Pierre, thank you for including your set-up for photographing this most interesting object you found on the beach. By chance did you try photographing the piece on the diagonal? |

Murphy, your photo captures well the spokes of the antique buggy wheel with the added surprise of the autumn leaves. The striking image is sharp with the textured detail of the spokes and the leaves. |

I love this photo for its simplicity, Charlie! Your composition with the rubber bands being connected and with all their bends and curves adds such interest to the viewer. Your post processing is spot on. I have no recommendations, as I like the photo just as it is. |

Norman, the composition with the forks on the diagonal was a great choice. Your unique image has great impact because I was astonished by all the colors in the plastic forks.
A member in my Photo Club just showed his photo of silver forks arranged the same way. I was surprised by the colors in yours as a result of just seeing his! |

Thank all of you for your helpful critiques. The increased saturation and the line to differentiate the base from the background certainly improve the image. |
