Welcome again, Ruth, to our group! My mother's name was Ruth.
Your image of the frosty seed pod is most interesting. Centering the pod in this case would have more impact in my opinion. Also cloning the less sharp crystals at the front of the pod and on the stem so that they were sharp and less distracting is an idea. |

Pierre, the title immediately peaks one's interest! Great capture of the sawyer beetle! I also would like to see more of the beetle's face, particularly its eyes. Also I would clone out the two pieces on the left side. I like your foreground being more sharp than the background, adding the depth of field, although I wonder if there is a way to make that transition less apparent. |

Murphy, what a lovely abstract image you have captured and created! I have no suggestions to improve your capture. I like the colors, the textures, the lighting, and the composition. |

Charlie, your composition with the reflections and subtle background is striking. I love the way you placed the pieces. Kudos! I have no recommendations to improve this image. |

Norman, your image of your watch is sharp, and I like the diagonal composition. I think that Charlie's recommendations of blurring the background, adding the gradient, and creating more space are excellent ones. |

Nice capture of the lovely butterfly, Barbara!
My eye tends to go to the dark area at the bottom left of the image. I would love to see the image rotated so that the butterfly was on the diagonal. |
