Thanks to all! Charlie, I shall have to look at my original photo to see what else was around it. Probably the reason I cropped it tightly. |

Priscilla, very interesting and artistic image of a faded rose. I also think centering the image might be an option. |

Barbara, I love the red berries and pine cones. Maybe a third pine cone would be an option. On my monitor there is a line in the background to the left of the top branch that the spot healing brush could eliminate. Beautiful image! |

Murphy, I never would have guessed your photo was ice in a bird bath, which makes it a great abstract image. Very creative and artistic! |

Charlie, I really like the composition as you have it. I think cropping might make it feel closed-in, whereas the other shelves give a more open feeling, which allows the viewer to envision more of the lumberyard.
I, too, love wandering and taking photos of whatever peaks my interest. |

I like the diagonal branch, but I think the image would be improved by omitting the branch at the left. Just blurring the little artifact would focus the attention on the sharp head and legs of the insect.
Does anyone know what type of insect it is? |

Barbara, your image is lovely. The composition with the lily on the diagonal and focus upon only part of the lily is very creative. The lighting and the veins add much impact. A photo that cheers all of us during these grey winter days! |
