Hi Kirsti, you did a good job of creating a misty purple light which is the main feature of the image and conveys the serenity you wanted. Regards Billy |

Hi Jeri, a beautiful blend of muted colors and textures. The lighting is perfect. I am intrigued by the mixture of brick, stone, and plaster. Good capture! Regards Billy |

Hi Rick, this is a real color spectacle. At first, I see the dark red perimeter, followed by the bright yellow on the lefthand side. Then I am drawn to the tree which leads me through the image and around again. Very impressive. Well done! Regard Billy |

Hi Christine, thanks for sharing a beautiful sunrise. For me the image is all about the clouds close to the horizon, and the cropped version helps to emphasize them. The detail and contrasts within the clouds add a lot to the image. I want to spend more time looking at them, but I am repeatedly distracted by the brightness of the sun. Would it help to darken the sun a little more? Regards Billy |

Hi Joan, it was a good decision to crop in close so that the tree makes a strong statement. I am very impressed by your compositing skills and the overall effect looks very natural. The simplicity adds a lot to the charm of the image. Regards Billy |

Hi Jeri, yes, I am enjoying the class and it gets me motivated to go out and take photographs (sometimes of subjects that I don't normally photograph). I prefer Kirtis's presentation and I was not sure why until I saw your description of stark and blunt, it is right on - thank you. I agree that brightening the streetlamp adds a lot to the image. Regards Billy |
