Hi Kristi, what an interesting project. You have done a good job of recreating the original photo, even to the extent of shadows on the forehead and left cheek. She looks exactly like the original. I agree the eyes are a good upgrade. |

Hi Jeri, I think you have something unique here. When I try to photograph this type of performance I am always disappointed because of the low light situation. Your image is much more dramatic and I understood it right away. I think this is a combination of long shutter speed and camera motion which created a very dynamic scene. The camera motion has caused the lights in the background to appear as streaks and they draw the eye away from the knight. I agree with recommendations to tone them down. |

Hi Rick, good shot. She looks very natural and you have not intruded as she concentrates on whatever is in front of her.
The soft light adds to the moment and is very effective in showing the colors of her native costume. |

Hi Kristi, good observation, I did not notice the stone until you mentioned it. I will remove it. Thanks Billy |

Hi Linda, I love the bold, striking colors of this image and the sharp outline of her clothes against the red door. I think it really helped that you removed the mailbox and door lock as it creates more space for her, so that she does not look trapped in the corner. Also appreciate that you removed the mark (tattoo ?) on her right elbow. The soft light really helps the image. Good job! |

Hi Joan, I like the simplicity of this image which is emphasized by your choice of black and white. The sparkles of light add a lot to it, particularly as they contrast against the dark gradient. The antique border is a nice touch. |
