Hi Rick, this is a very creative way to make a dramatic change to an image we may have become accustomed to seeing in classical landscape photography. Good job |

Hi Linda, I agree that peonies have beautiful, intense color which you captured here. If you had a DSLR camera with you, it would have provided the opportunity to darken the exposure in order to make the color even more dramatic. However, the best camera to use is the one you have with you, and you have this photo to remind you of a beautiful memory. |

Hi Bruce, I like the composition of the moon and its reflection in the water. I agree with the recommendations to use bracketing for and HDR image. Lightroom makes it very easy to merge images into an HDR composite. |

Joan I really like the focus on the petals in the foreground and everything soft behind them. I draws my eye to them without any distractions in the background. Good job of removing some highlights in the background. |

Hi Kirsti, thank you for your comments, I am glad you like the photograph. I want to acknowledge Joan for upgrading the title. When I submitted the photograph, I had it titled as "Nandina Tears". Joan upgraded it to "Nandina in Tears" which I think provokes a much more emotional response to the photograph. Thank you Joan |
