54 Jun 21 Reply I suggest if you want something specific such as the viewers reaction to a situation over the composition itself, then try making that clear in your write up to the image. Otherwise personally I'm only going to comment on the editing & technique. As you said yourself "it's a simple cut & paste job" & while there was not much done to the image I do like the detail you've pulled out the walls. Sorry if that's not enough.

You haven't missed anything but if you're not clear in what you're asking the viewer to ponder or comment on, the viewer will miss it.

As you've since asked. No the image doesn't create fear or anxiety personally, there isn't enough of an angle to the second passage way to make it a main subject for me & in my view a thought provoking or powerful image shouldn't heavily rely on a title to tell it's story.

You certainly did that. The muted greens & the tall tress set the atmosphere while the bright greens make the subject pop. I like how you've blurred the bottom corners but not the top to maintain the background.

54 Jun 21 Comment Very nicely done.
The two originals in their own right don't really do much as individual images, but you managed to combine them into something that does. I like the detail brought out on the walls also. If I were pushed to add a third image, adding a darkened interior image behind the man would be what I would play with.

54 Jun 21 Comment I love this!
All 3 main elements have been blended fantastically leading to the high key focal point of the Church/Cathedral, the texture & the frame doesn't look out of place either and suits the image well. It has a very late 1800s wet plate photography vibe about it.

54 Jun 21 Comment I think Brad has hit the nail on the head, the cat and butterflies do look overly sharp but I think that's more previlant due to the background being too soft. Good touch in removing the white label on the tree also. Jun 15th
