No. The exif info said ISO 10,000. I wasn't sure that was correct either but it was narrow DOF and fast SS.

This little guy jumped right out at me. I spent a month in OZ all over the country and never saw one. Maybe that's good, it scared me to death until I read your write-up. I like the current crop as its mouth and eyes are going right to the viewer. |

I really enjoy going back and re-editing photos that I took 10 years ago when I was just learning digital. Both the improvements in the editing programs, and my camera skills have brought new life to old photos.
You did a wonderful job on this photo. The layers, colors, and dimensions of the lands are quite beautiful. The grasses and the water add movement and the mountains add distance. Very nice. |

Contest winner!! Perfect show of expression. The stories she could tell.
You used a 24-70--how close were you to her? |

Its really hard to get the perfect breeding plumage display. You make it look easy but I don't see this often on the Florida bird pages. The leafy background is very even, not like the sort of wind damaged sticks here on the west coast.
His green lore perfectly matches the vegetation. Beautiful photo. |

This is so beautiful. I have been to this spot. I love how the photo draws my eye into the distant mountains. November is a wonderful time of year to be there and this makes me want to return. |
