I miss the West, the landscape and the critters. I don't mind the colors you picked here. The only thing I would do would be to crop it tighter. I am more interested in seeing the animals, and the landscape is less inviting here. |

I am sure his mother thinks he's beautiful. This is a good capture. While I see them all the time, I rarely see them with their wings spread. You captured lovely colors here.
I don't mind them. If their head was different, would be love them more? Look at the Crested Cara Cara, eats road kill too, and people go nuts after them... |

I sure hope that was a strong hide, because you were really close to him.
I like the angle you shot from, and the motion of the drops of muddy water flying through the air, as well as the reflection you caught in the water.
I hope you print this photo. Its terrific. |

Beautiful feather detail on the parrots. What a lucky moment to find them together. You did a wonderful job of capturing the feeling there.
I agree with the others that a tighter crop would show them off even more. |

So lovely. Several of my Nikon friends have switched over to the Sony cameras. Your spoonie is so sharp at f/4/, my Nikon would have had be have been f/8 or higher. The details on the feathers is beautiful. Do I sound jealous???

I made the mistake of deleting the processed file from Lightroom when I was cleaning out stuff. I am sure I used the basic adjustments, probably increased saturation quite a bit, and sharpened the photo. Settings were f/11, 1/250, ISO 640. It was a new to me lens. I need to do this more. Thanks for the comment. |

Thank you. These are so tiny you can barely see them. I am not an insect or spider person either. |
