You will most likely not see them on Alligator Alley or any high speed road. They are often on back roads near cattle fields. The roads around Immokolee and the native areas often have them. |

This is my favorite and here in Florida, we see them perched on a post on the side of the road just like this. They go after road kill, and often get in fights with other scavengers. You did a terrific job of cloning in a leg, and bluring the fence. |

Ditto on being jealous. I would love to visit here and see this village with my own eyes. This is a beautiful photo. |

I love this different type of butterfly shot. The swallowtail really stands out, as opposed to a monarch that maybe would have blended in too much. Nice and sharp and done well. |

I hope you enlarge and print this photo. It is stunning and looking at it takes me back to the mountains. I have a similar one that I printed on metal and put in the bathroom near the tub. Slow moving water is soo relaxing. I miss the California mountains of my childhood. |

I am not an insect person, looking close gives me goosebumps. However, I appreciate the enjoyment and effort you put in that made this shot so nice. The colors are terrific and you can tell the moth is enjoying his meal. |

Over here on the West Coast, we have a lot of glossy Ibis, but not usually nesting birds. You are able to show many of the colors here; the youngster will get more color as he grows. I have that camera and lens and sometimes its a bit too much. Come back again in winter. |

In addition to the above comments, the reflections in this photo make it very special. You caught the light in almost all of the eyes. The ripples behind the babies give a wonderful sense of movement. You motivate me to get out early in the morning. |

Thanks so much. I find on my Nikons that auto ISO works much better than not using it. With wildlife my settings are usually M for 1/2500 or 1/3200 and f/5.6 or f8, unless there is a group of birds and I need to increase DOF. I check the histogram a lot. |
