Agreed with the rest. I think photos of the water alone would be very interesting. Those abstract patterns would look nice matted and framed. |

I saved, cropped, and slightly increased exposure on your original. I feel it shows off the lovely flowers more. My friends and family have low tolerance for my time taking photos, so unless I am in a strange area, I go alone.
Cell photos are perfect for family walks. My husband's Samsung takes better photos than my Iphone. |

Welcome back. The colors in this photo are lovely. I like the detail in the wings and the shadow of the flower petal is what it is. I can't tell the detail as well on the head and body but that might just be that I am viewing this on my laptop. I can't address the question of the teleconverter as I am not familiar with using it. I had one a while for my Nikon lens but didn't like it and resold it. |

We can really personify this moose (moosette?). She smiles right at you and give you that eyeful. Excellent capture.
The only thing I would play with would be to lower the highlights in the background a bit so she stand out more. But that's just my experimenting. |

I know how hard these guys or gals are to capture in a photo and I think you did a very nice job. The detail in the wings and the reflection of the wings in the water is spot on. Seeing the wet moss on that part of the submerged stick is just part of the environment, and I don't think it is distracting.
I love seeing eyes and "teeth" on dragon flies, but they are hard to see and the highlights on the head may have hidden these parts.

Limpkins are pretty common near me at Myakka River Park. Mostly in water or flying about in water as they dig for snails and clams. I like your shot with the water drops because it is more a more unusual setting. In addition, the back-lighting is a feature not often captured and you did a good job of that.
I might play with increasing the highlights, and back lights a bit to make the bird stand out. Maybe also some radial masking over his head and eye and lightening it bit.
I'm not sure what you could do about the dark part of the background but more highlights around the bird might make it stand out more. |

Thank you for all the compliments. I am thrilled to have found this site within an hour of my Maryland condo and to have seen the elusive birds. Everyone has a way of curating their shot and Inappreciate all the suggestions. |
