You are too kind. I am going to put it in the F3C for this trimester and (shocker) my DIL wants a copy. Thanks so much. Thanks all for the comments. I edited this on my laptop so I have not even seen it on a large monitor. |

Here's the raw file. I exposed for the sky so as not to blow out the highlights. Then I increased the temperature a little, increased the exposure a bit, decreased the highlights all the way, pulled up the shadows all the way, and increased the whites and blacks a bit.I pushed up the clarity, vibrance, and saturation.I cropped it a bit, then used the radial filter to add warmth and lightness to the grass. And again with the radial filter for the sky. Then I used a graduated filter for the sky and the sand. This was taken about 30 minutes after sunrise in the Outer Banks. |

Very nice. I hardly ever see owls. Love her eyes. Nicely composed shot. |

Such a nice sharp photo. Everything is all in focus at 5.6. I can't always get that. Is it your fast shutter speed? I haven't gone up that high yet. Maybe I should try it. My wings get soft. |

This is w wonderful photo of this little bird. I had them at my pond also but the background was never good. Your sky is a nice use of negative space. I like how it looks off to the center. I might add just a bit more blue space on his back side so he isn't so close to the edge. |
