I very much like the composition you chose. You caught a nice gleam in the bison's eye.
I am not clear why you chose such a high shutter speed, as that bison may not have been moving quickly. A lower shutter speed would have allowed you a lower ISO. |

This is a very interesting waterfowl. I have never seen one before. I struggle with high enough shutter speed also. I love that you caught it eating its bivalve. |

No you are right. I have always thought it was too much warmth and I keep readjusting it. Last week he was in full breeding plumage and I got a whole sequence of he and his mate. He had bright green under the eyes down his nose. |
