I love the soft colors and texture creating a pensive mood. Could not resist adding the left eye and blurring the sharpness of the rug in the foreground. Cold be a nice wall-hanging on a pet doggie's room. |

An ominous threat well captured ..... reminds me of the numerous monsoon storms in Bengal..... the choice of monochrome format is most appropriate for this scene. The three tall lamp-posts are
are bit distractions. |

I love this shot very much- both for its subject and the overall execution. My past 20 years of professional work has been on "Empowerment of Women". This image captures the essence of empowerment-"a flight of freedom". I hope Asmar- you do not take offence; I could not help making some experiments to see if that makes any sense. You do not have to accept any of it. First I cropped both sides to create a taller vertical dimension to make the kite look higher in the sky; added blue to the sky and water to reftect my memory of the blue sky and water in the middle-east, and blurred the edges to remove the white halo around the figure. Without any of these, the originial is powerful image |

A superb image and very nostalgic for me. The composition, lighting, and the complementary shadows of the pillars come together to make a great shot. Agree with Stephen- monochrome would be nice too. |
