It is a wise decision to merge two images (a close-up and a landscape) to make this image that is razor sharp all over and presents a color scheme of the blue hour. (Did you use a flash to add light on the gargoyle ?).No single shot can all these effects in one image. Sep 23rd
8 Sep 17 Comment Excellent nature study in a macro mode- superb color, tone, and composition come together.The water droplets add a lot to the overall impact and the choice of macro rightly emphasize the effects.I like Gloria's rendition of the composition too. Sep 23rd
8 Sep 17 Comment This is a textbook example of an abstract image. My eyes and mind keep swinging between the beauty of the image (surface) and the emerging/changing meaning of the image( depth ). Incuding the original was very appropriate. Sep 23rd
