Very nicely composed, colorful, and perspective. The details on the water surface and the sharp details all around do not compete with the main subject for attention. It tells me that sometimes both the main subject and background could reinforce rather than distract. Well done. |

" The path less traveled"..... that does indeed reward us with rare view. The golden color of the leaves on soft but bright snow, plus the diagonal branches come together to create a simple but elegant image... reminds me of a Japanese classic.

A nice idea--- the two subjects and the reflection on the glass construct an complex image. The square format is a nice idea; it pulls our attention on the figures. The two figures looking at different directions create a dissonance
and encourage to imagine what is going on. A challenging image.

Very colorful image for a rainy day--- the rainy clouds create a wonderful perspective and mood. Beautiful overall and nicely exposed. Indeed the figure makes a big difference. |

This is a fascinating layered image- when I focus at the center.. after a while the image appears to rotate- like a Rorschach inkblot card---- different viewer will project their own imaginations. A great image !!! |

Hi Mark:
I agree with you; aesthetically I am fully with you. I tried, but it's not easy to fill that big space with something that goes with rest of the scene.
These are boxes of sweets offered to deities and distributed to the worshippers after the prayer is over.
