Likely it was the first phantogram I saw as well, by Steve Hughes, who conducted a phantogram workshop at the 2004 NSA convention. One fun thing about phants is that you can add real objects with the images and they can blend in seamlessly, or else set them side by side as you describe. |

one of the things i like about this type of phantogram is that as well as rising out of the page, the backdrop sinks nicely below.
the colors of the flower are very challenging for anaglyph, lots of retinal rivalry. |
