Craig, how topical! What a cool idea! I like that you rendered in b&w. About the only suggestion i might offer is to further darken the area above the car. It is a little distracting. |

Torah, this is a breathtaking shot of the Rockies! Where in Yellowstone were you? Beartooth pass? I like that you have a cloud cutting across below the peak. That tell the story of how high you were. You have great light on the furthest peaks. I might consider cropping down a little since the sky is not that interesting. |

Alan this has a lot of potential. From a design perspective I see squares and layers. The horizon line is level. Layers of light blue dark blue and lights sand are compelling. They are complimentary colors. But the dimensions are not the same. Perhaps experiment with say deleting the sky layer? What might that look like? Maybe straighten the line between the light colored squares and the dark blue ocean? Just some random thoughts. |

I find that the sky replacement feature in luminar is a whole easier to do than in os. Luminar also anticipates the need for a reflection in water, like 5he lake in this scene. I cannot remember, but I think you coukd include the sky that you can see through the window. |

Alan,
Shooting a piocture of a land Cruiser on a dirt road with dirt on the tires and a lake in the background sure speaks to the topic of a vintage carr in an environmental seting suitable for this type of vehicle. I like that you did not shoot it head on, but with the front corner of the car closest to you to see the width and depth of the car. I wihs that the color of the grasses in the background weren't so close to the color of the vehicle. I also wish the sky had somne clouds in it. Maybe do some sky replacement work on it in ps? |

Thanks Larry. I was on a boat, so the search for a foreground was at best difficult. |

Bud,
What a great moment! I just came back from a trip to Alaska to photo brown bears catching salmon. Great fun to watch!
What threw me as I looked over this photo was the tonality of the bears vs the tonality of the rocks and water. It took me a while to see the upper bear on the left. My eye went to the white water and rocks in the foreground. Suggest reducing the white in the water and the rocks in the forground and increase the shadows and clarity on the bears so they pop out more. |

Richard,
On my several trips to FL, I was never able to get a shot of the roseate spoponbill. But a couple of springs ago, a pair of them eneded up in northern VA, where I live. Got several great shots of this beautiful bird!
IMO cropping out the other birds was the way to go. This one was showing off those beautiful feathers! I love how you softened the background grasses. You captured the bird with those feathers fully revealed! Excellent! I also like the soft reflection! Can't think of anything to recommend! hang it with pride!! |

Cindy,
What a great capture! I love that the rabbit is looking right at you and that you have the sun lighting up the back of its oversized ears! I also love that you achieved a very soft and pleasing bokeh for the background. I'd only clone out that small spot on the right side of the rabbit. |

Susan,
Well you caught this bird in a great position with the wings up so we could admire the underside of the wings. You also captured the snail in its talons. I'm glad you told us what the bird had caught, because I could not tell by just looking at it. Your settings look spot on. My only recommendation to you would be to run the bird portion of the image through Topaz sharpen to get better detail in the bird. |
