Hi Carter, Welcome to the Group.
You've provided a very interesting image for discussion. My initial question is... Did you use a tripod with your IPhone? The advancements with low light technology have been very dramatic, but some situations still need more stabilization. The image, as presented, has a barn that is not sharp. You may be going for that look or ethereal feel to your image, but my impression is that it detracts from what you want the viewer to see or feel.
Like others have noted, the clouds are the same color tone as the barn and there should, ideally, be some separation. That is easily rectified in Lightroom or Photoshop
I love what you're trying to do.

Thank you for your comment, Martin.
When I first envisioned this final image, I knew I would be challenged by my masking and item-deleting skills. That was more of the overall challenge...to see how well I could bring out ONLY the wall art.

Thanks for your comments, Shirley.
I have thought about copyright infringement. If I ever do decide to sell copies of this (or consider it) I will contact the artist first.
I LOVE the title you came up with.
Thanks. |

Hi Stanley, once again, you've presented a very interesting image for discussion.
It is visually stimulating, while, at the same time, being difficult to view. The colors are wonderful. I can only imagine the effort you went to in order to capture this specific frame. You were apparently panning to keep the main character in focus while all other aspects of the scene became secondary.
You did not provide the metadata for this image to provide us with your camera settings. Personally, I would like to see more of the other characters and their colors. |

Ahhh! Delicate Arch is one of my favorite sights in the whole world!!! Arches Ntl. Park is my favorite park in the entire country. I've visited many times and love the hike and effort it takes to get back to this view. I'm so glad you were able to make the hike to see this view firsthand.
I was just out in Utah again last week where I took my submitted image for this month - albeit, on the other side of the state.
For your image, this is the location for the "money shot". Unfortunately, you had a mostly cloudy day, and you can't control the weather. But this is such a gorgeous sight when there is a mostly blue sky and the snow-capped LaSalle Mountains in the background really pop! |

Hi Karen,
Lovely image. Definitely wall-worthy as presented. Your post processing touch with the background really makes the bloom pop. I love the subtle element of the two very-slightly overlapping leaves in the upper left portion of the bloom.
I've been learning more about the OM-1 system since I've been leaning more towards macro and the potential of in-camera photo stacking. |

Hi Shirley,
I think the crop that you made was very appropriate for this beautiful subject - knowing the limitation for viewing or printing. I love the side light and the relative softness of the surrounding foliage.
There are always tradeoffs with full frame vs crop sensor - usually with pixel count, so it generally comes out the same when cropping. |
