Nice photo!!!
I experimented with processing the Sun several different ways, but in the end, I decided I liked the slightly blown out version the best. |

Thanks to you all for your very kind comments.
The reason I posted this photo was to see if anyone would complain about the Sun being a bit blown out. I tried several different adjustments in post but in each case, I preferred this version with an exceptionally bright Sun.
Since no one commented about the somewhat blown out Sun, it gives me confidence that I made the correct decision. :) |

These are really amazing animals, aren't they? Makes me want to book a ticket and fly back to India tomorrow! :)
Nice job getting the entire animal in focus! |

Wow...a unique background and setting with my absolute favorite bird in the world...the Green Heron!
I've never seen this bird presented with these surroundings...very creative of you.
As a former D850 user, I can relate to the fact that the camera will be happy to point out any mistake you have made...if you get a great photo from a D850, it means you've really taken a great photo. |

What a beautiful animal you were able to capture!
Was this taken in early morning, or just on an overcast day?
Parts of the fox are a little dark to my eye, but presumably you had to limit ISO as to not blow out the snow? |

Glad you enjoyed this amazing journey...I plan to make it to Costa Rica sometime in the future...had to cancel a trip there last year because of Hurricane Ian.
The flower is so beautiful, it would have made a great photo even without the bird!
In a perfect world, would have liked to see more of the Birds Eye, but seeing the beautiful rear feathers and tail so clearly is also a treat.
Please post as many CR pics as you like...I, for one, won't get bored of them :).

I love how you framed Half Dome in the "V" of the mountains in the foreground. It's especially challenging to make something unique out of a landscape that has been photographed thousands of times over.
I agree with Leslie about the grain (maybe too much texture???) and the purple hues.
Thanks for sharing this unique photo. |
