94 Dec 21 Comment Isn't it amazing how much cropping is possible on modern cameras?! (I do the same sometimes with my Nikon D850). Warblers don't usually sit still for very long, so the fast shutter speed is totally understandable. While the bird is the obvious subject, I also appreciate the texture of the green vegetation growing on the tree trunk. Dec 11th

94 Dec 21 Comment Wow, you gave yourself a tough assignment...white bird on a gloomy day with high key processing! The image looks perfectly technically sound to my eyes, and certainly imparts a different mood than the typical image with a contrasting subject and background. Dec 11th
