You are all correct about oversharpening. I'm working more with Topaz Photo AI now and significantly reducing the standard sharpening parameters. My continuing complaint with Topaz is its slowness.
That was as close as the bumblebee got to the Hummer. |

Richard - You did a great job turning an average photo into a stellar one. Your post-processing is excellent, especially in dealing with the colors in the reflection. Terrific job. |

Hi Larry, Matt K just said he now thinks Topaz Photo AI is better than LRC for noise reduction. Who knows? These programs are changing weekly, all to our benefit. I think it depends on the original shot and how patient one is in waiting for the processing. This is a good shot, with the heron's feet just clearing the water and the drops suspended. |

Cindy, this is an excellent action shot! I love the eyes and the water drops. The color of cormorant eyes always intrigues me. Beautiful! |
