Thank you all. It is printed on metal and hanging on the wall. ;-) |

OK, Michael, I'm really impressed. 14,400 ISO, handheld, and you got those colors and feather detail? I envy you. Well done! |

Susan- I'm happy to see the camera setup you are now using. It's a great rig for distance. A 9x16 crop might work well here to give the crow room to fly and lessen some of the noise produced by your tight crop. You've done a nice job in post-processing, reducing noise, and bringing out wing feathers, eyes, and legs. This was an ambitious task and I can see how you have progressed since you joined the group. |

David: I have shot that location hundreds of times over all seasons. The best time to shoot if you are looking for a landscape of the river and mountains is the early morning when the rising sun lights it all up (assuming clear skies in the east). Your shot is in a conflict that HDR won't resolve. I would save the sky portion as a background in photoshop for another image one day. The lower image of the mountains could be salvaged, but, as Larry demonstrated, it is not sharp enough to keep. |

Richard, I love the picture and think it's a great capture with the bird colors and feather detail. I agree with others about the distraction of the blue at the top. I might have cropped that out as well; then expanded the image in Photoshop Beta with generative Ai to give the bird the original room you set in your image. |

Cindy, once again, you've provided a wonderful landscape from South Georgia Island. After Susan's remarks, I spent 15 minutes playing "Where's Waldo" looking for red trousers. I never did see them. Photo books can be created through Blurb.com using the Bookwright app. Also, Adobe's InDesign will provide formats using the "Book" setup in Lightroom Classic. |

It is a gorgeous shot and a phenomenal capture of lightning bolts manually! It almost has a religious or spiritual nature. Great job reducing the highlights in post-processing.
Extraordinary and freaking dangerous. You know, if you can see and hear the lightning, you can be struck. |
