Great still life image with the above comments noted. I particularly like your finding the nest and lighting it well. |

Love this photo! The image of the church in the center above the mist and below the mountains draws the viewers eye into the photo and gives one the feeling of being there in person. Beautiful location well captured. |

Pretty funny. Not a very good surfer. He would not do well in Hawaii. |

Impactful photo of the diversity of the pandemic. It attacks all persons of all nationalities, races, religions. Your photo makes this so obvious and shows how the whole world is in this together. |

Michael: Thanks very much for the extensive biology lesson on damselflies. Both images are great and technically challenging. A side note - were you one of the winners in the Journal of Wildlife photo contest this year? |

I have shot hundreds of GBH's and find they are better subjects in the golden hour. This darkened image makes me squint to look for faults and lack of focus. I would rather just enjoy the subject.... |

Great story and study subject. Reading the background story clarified the photo for me. Envy your proximity to such great photo subjects. |

Cindy - I'm not really competent to comment on astrophotography having not done it myself. I can comment on your photo though as an impartial viewer. I agree that the trees are too bright. I would crop them out entirely because they don't add to the subject, the MW. Larry is right about overexposure. I would have liked to see a dark background to bring out the stars/galaxies. However, bravo to you for tackling a challenging photo subject. |

I like the image very much, especially since we don't see these birds in the PNW. I agree with the comments on softness and lack of feather detail. You might try increasing your exposure a bit in LR and doing some light work in Topaz DeNoise Ai and Topaz Sharpen Ai. You will be amazed at what the new Ai programs can bring out. |
