I like the simplicity of this image and the imagination used. Also the pink flowers add a lot to the interest. I think Bob's editing enhanced the image. |

It's the first time for me as well to see an image which is post processed like this. I agree with the suggestions of Bob and Mervyn though. Also about placing the person a bit more to the right would be more pleasing in my opinion. But certainly something to try again in future! Thanks for showing us something new. |

Happy New Year to everyone in this group as well!
I agree with adding some space on the right of the image as well, so there is not so much tension there. I like the BW conversion very much! I do like the diagonal composition but find it a shame as well that one of the drummer's face is obstructed by the arms of the others. Maybe a bit to the left or another moment (continuous shutter) could have helped. I know that is not always in our minds at the time though, ;) |

I agree with the cloning and cropping suggested by Jose. This is a great travel image! The backlit situation here is a difficult one. There are some overexposed spots on the well and the woman's face is indeed a bit dark still (in compare with other bright spots probably). I would not darken the sky too much though, as it is a bit unnatural now, and makes a light halo around the buildings and wooden fence. But certainly a nice moment and great travel photo! |

A lovely image and great post processing to get the most out of the image. I like the crop Kirsti suggested as well. I would try to lighten the islands a bit (which are dark), and the light halo around the islands (not sure if it is just my monitor but maybe the post processing was just a bit too much?) |
