I also would not have guessed what this was without your explanation. Do agree with the others that it is well done and "creepy" indeed. Sci-fi comes to mind directly. Do like it though.. |

I am more of a color person, so I like the color version better, but I see the attraction to BW. It makes a more graphical picture, and less of a wildlife pic this way. Both are great pics I believe! |

Hi Mervyn,
A very nice image, although I find the horizontal road somewhat distracting and indeed cutting the view in half, as Jose mentioned. Not much you can do about it though, maybe would have tried to take the image above the horizontal road, but you would have lost the house then.. difficult choice. |

A very interesting image, although I also don't like snakes ;)
I agree with Jose to try and darken the background a little. I very much like the composition and the symmetry. Well done. |

I like the edited version better, as it has a clue of what it is.. and provides a nice contrast between the rocks and the soft weeds. For me the original version is too saturated (especially the blue of the water). |
