I like the textured version #2 better, the final version is a bit too saturated for me and lacks the details, which I find quite interesting in this image. Nice pic! |

Agree with Belinda to do brighten up some areas on the car to let it stand out of the image even more and make it more impressive (size wise). Very nice composition and well done with the head-on angle. Seems this month has a theme of cars and machinery mostly ;) |

This is a very nice image in terms of composition and colours. I agree with Belinda though and like the original image better. |

It sure is a minimalist image. Agree with Bob to do some burning, and create more of a 3D effect, as for my feeling it is a bit too flat. |

Agree with Bob and Jose that the blowouts in the man's face make there is some detail lost, which is unfortunate. It must have been a contrasty scene and difficult to take in one shot. I like the BW version and the story it tells. I do find that the fan to the right hand border looks quite unnatural, almost like a cartoon (not sure how you call that in english), not sure that is how you captured it, or it is caused by post. Maybe you could crop that out (right hand side with fan). Overall a nice image, just needs a bit more work maybe. |

Thanks Jose. Will try to increase the saturation of the reds of the boats, and flip the color image as well, to see if I like it more than the BW. Thanks for the feedback! |

Thanks Mervyn.. It is always a matter of personal taste I realise. But yes, I somehow also prefer the BW version. Will try to give the image more contrast and see how that comes out. Thanks. |
