More successful than my attempts at this. I have enjoyed the patterns created although some of the lighter areas in the left side give the impression of being burned out a little. Don't give up on this technique it's worth pursuing. |

Flowers not as nice as the bird - how about cropping out some of them to focus on the bird which is the main interest? |

I find the background a bit too distracting - perhaps because of the angle at which it was taken the slope of the top of the building takes me away from the bird. Also some of the white areas of the bird appear overexposed. |

The simplicity makes the picture. The subject is set off by the lovely background. Very very nice. |

You've taken a very high quality portrait of a very interesting person. The light and textures have an amazing quality. There is a lot of content in this that is more than a candid moment. Very well done. |

Absolutely wonderful image. Words fail me other than excellent. |

I was lucky with this as it was taken outdoors in decent light and the paintwork was defect free and there were no hot spots unlike in my October 2011 image (attached) which was photographed indoors and I spent ages removing all the tiny little spots of lights from the overhead lighting to achieve the smooth surface. |
