I did go back a month later with a 10-24mm lens but the light direction had changed so much there was no light at all inside the building. The part in the foreground supported on the steel columns has recently been demolished so I won't be able to try again. |

I'm seeing the focus issues too. The background does enhance the image compared to the original. |

Could have done without the handrail in the foreground at right. The structure is dominant without it and the walkway takes you right to the sun. |

I am enjoying the strong emphasis from the bridge as it takes me across the water. Nice one. |

I like the foliage colours but I would have hoped for more contrasty lighting to boost them. |

1/500 handheld at f/11 and 2 stops underexposed
iso 1600
focal length 26mm on Fujifilm 18-55mm lens
metered on the stone walls hoping to get some detail in the bright area as well but it was very contrasty light and there was little detail to photograph due to the angle I was taking it at as I wanted everything in the frame
tried metering off the bright area but there was still no perceptible detail in most of it and it upset everything else |
