8 Dec 19 Reply Everything here seems to prey on the ducklings and the survival rate is quite low. The mothers are very aware of the danger when you see them organising the group and leading them out of the water. Gulls can be another danger as well as four-footed ones like otters and being on dry land is not always a solution. Dec 16th
