8 May 18 Reply I am not a lover of filters as you suggest however I have some Japanese paper and have been looking for the right image for printing on it. I'll certainly explore possibilities with this photograph. May 24th
8 May 18 Reply Yes Mark, it turned out as a beautiful print and a reminder of the location that I visit a lot but not always in interesting light. May 15th
8 May 18 Reply Hi Gloria, very difficult to get the angle you suggest as the field boundaries are at strange angles and I didn't want to venture into the field as a crop had just been planted. I did manage to get a little bit of an angle on the attached shot but not as much as I (or you) probably wanted. The chances of another misty morning are now remote for another year! May 13th
8 May 18 Comment A pity you have lost the hand - was there not another way of editing the image that didn't do this e.g. eliminating or obscuring the horizontal lines? ... or just live with it and enjoy the hands and work complemented by the face. May 9th

8 May 18 Comment Well seen and the face in the balloon looking down at the salesman plus the open arms really connect the balloons with the fed up appearance of the man. May 9th
8 May 18 Comment A unique treatment of the building that creates a very different approach to Frank Gehry's individual style. Maybe a bit unfortunate that the light area is right in the middle however I can live with that because it maintains the effect of the curves in the structure. May 9th
8 May 18 Comment Very dramatic architectural image - it might be even stronger with a contrasty monochrome edit. May 9th
8 May 18 Comment Very nice conversion from the colour original and the faded edges work well. It has changed an ordinary photograph into a fine portrait. May 9th
8 May 18 Comment Good idea to create this image however I find the edges of the tiles a distraction. I don't think there is any need to identify the location but just leave the face in isolation as a bit of mystery. May 9th
8 May 18 Reply Hi Steve, thanks for the comment. I have tried this in monochrome but as I am basically a print person, it printed better for me with its low colour saturation qualities and the misty bits didn't quite live up to my expectations in monochrome although a few taken on the same occasion did work better in monochrome rather than colour.
