An interesting idea and I look forward to reading your article. The bottom edge of this is a little untidy and a little bit of space between the 3 bottom photographs and the bottom of the image would not go amiss. An inventive idea worth developing. |

The focal point of the image isn't coming across as critically sharp. I wonder if a slight vignette would accentuate the flower centre. |

Have you tried moving the buildings closer together to give a more "town" feel to the image. A creative use of your non-photographic talents. |

The texture you have added creates an unnatural aspect to the image which in itself is delightful. |

I like "original 1" on its own as it tells me a story. "Original 2" has items of interest but doesn't add anything to 1 for me although I do appreciate the scene-setting aspect. |

Nicely merged image however I find the left side lacking something in that it appears to come across as negative space due to its darkness. |

Thanks for the comment about the eye, Gloria. I have another version without the back of the seat, however I feel that removing it and also the coloured area on which Marcus commented remove my intention to convey "journey" otherwise I suppose it could be someone in a coffee-shop etc. Different edits result in different interpretations of what is basically someone on a bus travelling. |

I had tried converting it to monochrome however it lost the very bit of colour that I like which for me adds to what would be negative space and which helps to confirm that there is a world outside. |
