This image has great impact. It gets the message across very clearly. I ended up worrying about the message rather than paying any attention to the photographic details of composition or distractions! That is good photojournalism! |

Photojournalism is judged by PSA without worrying about some of the technical details of perfection. I chose to remove knobs from kitchen cabinet doors anyway! |

What a shame! Your composition says it all. Death and desolation. People not helping. Nothing to prevent the sadness of the slow death of the ocean. I have watched tv documentaries on these ocean problems. It is too bad that there isn't more mention of it in our society. You have emphasized the net around his neck with that color. Your message is loud and clear with no distractions. |

What a nice, peaceful-looking, ladylike protest! I feel I can hear them singing. You caught them with their mouths open, and so I think I hear their singing! Lately, I have been watching documentaries on the History channel and learning a lot about wars throughout the history of human beings. Seems as if war is part of the nature of human beings. Still can't figure out why, but they've been doing it since history began. What a shame! Wish it were the complete opposite! The photo here holds my interest. I've spent time looking at al the signs and the ladies' expressions. And admiring the buildings too! Nice even lighting for the image. |
