12 Nov 25 Reply The word "original" is set in stone, and I cannot change it when I put photos there. That does make it confusing when you are wanting to show a different image other than the original. Administrator. Nov 30th
12 Nov 25 Reply I can ask. There is room for the original and 2 other versions in addition to the main image when uploading to our website. Anytime the maker thinks the other images would be helpful, they are free to upload them. In my curvy road image, I didn't think the wires detracted from the point of the picture, and I could have left them alone. I thought I had removed all of them but maybe not. Nov 30th
12 Nov 25 Reply I never noticed the white area at the end of the curves in this photo. I do see something there now that you mentioned it. But I don't remember seeing anything but mail boxes and long driveways. Mmmm, I wonder if that is really a house so close to the road. I did remove a mailbox and a street sign...and 3 wires. Nov 13th
12 Nov 25 Comment I like this vacation shot because it reminds me of some of my vacations. Showing the sightseeing vehicles in front of the destination lighthouse was a good storytelling composition. The edge of the pavement also reminds me of so many roads I've seen on my vacations. The scary aspects! Those clouds are such a good background! Nov 13th
12 Nov 25 Comment I get a soft, pleasant "country" feeling when I see this photo. The mild lighting is a nice change from ordinary bright sunlight. The trees on both sides keep me centered looking down the road. Nice perspective for a calm scene. On your other two photos, I see the paper texture which would give a print a different look. 12 Nov 25 Comment So I am not the only person who takes pavement-designs photos with my phone? The pavement is full of fun details like this, I (we) think! I've never been fortunate like you to catch a heart! I played around with your heart to try to make it look more upright. Also darkened some areas and lightened others in my effort to make the heart more prominent. Cropped it more tightly. Nov 12th
12 Nov 25 Comment This image and your description sent me on a half hour vacation! I was unfamiliar with the Channel Islands. I just watched a long video about it by the National Parks Service. Now I can appreciate your image even more! I felt the bright area of the "curb" on the right kept pulling my eye away from the really interesting roadway. The designs on the roadway are the main area of interest for me. So, I edited the image to darken that right side, and then I also cropped your original slightly differently. Added a slight vignette. Once on the island, did you walk around. What did you see? Nov 12th
