This version is more dramatic. The original version is more like we are walking on the path in the woods and just happen to be there when the train comes by. I like seeing the environment in the woods with the path, so I don't know which picture I'd choose for my favorite. |

Just so you know, I did also take the version you mention. But I chose this version to show because it more more unique. Having only the stem and flower would be more like a flower catalog view. |

You definitely got down low with your camera! That's what makes this image extra cute. This is the bird's viewpoint while strolling on the beach. I like his little shadow, too. The exposure and depth of field are just perfect to tell this story. This image reminds me I ought to get down to my subject's eye level more often, especially when it is "low"! |

Imagine getting a moving train AND its reflection! Very quick and good reflexes while walking on a path through the trees! This is such an interesting subject and point of view. Never seen anything like it! The low angle makes the situation even more special. The light areas around the edges could be removed or considerably darkened to keep the emphasis on the train and make the image look less like a snapshot. |

I find this image to be captivating in several ways. First of all, just being that close to an ice climber is an experience. The detail in the ice makes me shiver! I'm amazed at how much detail I can see on the climber. And the low angle emphasizes the danger of it all. The extra photos are so helpful in setting the scene so I can appreciate the whole situation. |

Your low angle perspective really emphasizes the height and shape of the Space Needle. I appreciate your composition where the red and green shapes point up diagonally to the top of the tower. Great as leading lines! I can't imagine how much you twisted your body to get this view! Thanks for your interesting and detailed description, too! A pretty picture thanks to Chihuly's red and Mother Nature's blue sky! |
