I think there was a smudge on that key and I removed it instead of realizing it was the line dividing it from the other key!
Have fun and much success with your photography projects! We will miss you! |

Tres bien! A real bar! Even if it's in France! I think the fisheye version captures my interest more because it is more unique. Maybe just crop off a little of the ceiling and the sides. The lighting is good and lights everything up for us to see well. I think taking the photo at eye level was probably the most appealing view. Not sure what it would've looked like from a lower or higher perspective. I see a lot of possibilities for playing around with the fisheye. I think it's important to take a lot of views and really work the subject when using such a special lens. I wish I still had mine which I gave away years ago when I changed camera brand! |

You captured one of Kansas's interesting windows. I've seen them in the little towns all around here. The first thing I noticed was the color combination. The browns and yellows. Usually, I see old red brick or stone, so this was more interesting for me. My eye went to the lightest place, which is the light area above the window. And then to the lighter brown area to the right of the window. I find those light areas distracting. That's not the most interesting part of the picture. My suggestion would be to make the window show up as the main point of interest for the eye. I'd probably tone down those light areas and bring out a little detail in the window area, which is the primary area of interest for me. Post-editing can make a big difference when you alter the lights and darks to make the eye go to where you want it to go. |

These shadows of bars are a unique display for "bars." So imaginative. The fact that it's a broken-down fence is extra special. I'm glad you said what the shadows were because I was thinking of a bunch of swings chained together or something I couldn't identify at all. I think this composition is good because I see the 2 larger leaves being the main area of interest, followed by all the miscellaneous stuff found on the ground out in rustic nature. I myself have taken numerous photos of sidewalk shadows I've been walking on just because the stuff there had an interesting graphic look like your image does. And entitling it Stars and Stripes was very clever.

A very interesting and intriguing image of something unknown to me. Your description made me wonder what it was all about. Your photo made me realize I had no idea what these things are. I did need to look it up on the Internet. You did a lot of work to make the blue look just right and the printing very legible. Since the box of bars is an unknown item for me, I think I'd prefer to see the entire box (at the bottom) in order to realize it is a normal box. Otherwise, I can see it all clearly. It seems as if you did a lot of effective post editing to make that happen so well. |
